    Kaylin Tingle (pronouns: they/them/theirs) has been involved in antiviolence work in RVA for over a decade. A transplant from Williamsburg, VA, Kaylin received their Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Masters in Social Work with Certificates in Gender, Sexuality & Women’s Studies and Gender Violence Intervention from VCU. Prior to coming to University of Richmond, Kaylin worked at VCU for over 5 years in violence prevention and advocacy. Kaylin approaches violence prevention through a social justice and trauma-informed lens. They are dedicated to continuing to bring to light the ways oppression and privilege perpetuate cycles of violence, particularly against marginalized communities. As the Healthy Relationships and Violence Prevention Educator in Health Promotion, Kaylin oversees violence prevention programming for the campus community, including awareness and education on sexual and interpersonal violence, bystander intervention, consent, healthy relationships, and healthy sexuality.
